Our work in the community

Torevell & Partners have a long history of providing monetary support and expertise to charities and organisations in and around the Manchester region supporting the arts, youth and the greater community. We encourage our team to take an active role in the wider community, with the Directors and senior team members being active within charities and organisations.

The Arts

When you come into the office you are likely to see some paintings on the wall. This is due to a patron project supporting Manchester Art Gallery which Torevell & Partners are delighted to be a part of, with the sentiment that it’s better to have historic art hanging in offices than in conservation studies, whilst being able to fund Manchester Art Gallery on their projects in education, conservation and acquisition programs.

Martyn Torevell is a director of The Royal Exchange Theatre and was recognised as a Cultural Champion of the North West in 2011 and 2012 for his work with Manchester Art Gallery.

Our Youth

Amanda Valentine has been a governor of Bolton School for several years, whilst Emma Holden has helped judge an annual investment competition for students of Manchester University, and Daniel Jones is a trustee of Greater Manchester Youth Federation.

Torevell & Partners have supported Chetham’s School of Music for over 15 years through its sponsorship of the annual Torevell & Partners award and patronage of the Humphrey Chetham Club. In September 2011 we were delighted to announce that Torevell & Partners was also to become the first ever major series sponsor of Chetham’s Symphony Orchestra.

At Torevell & Partners we run graduate and apprenticeships schemes which have been a hugely successful way of introducing the younger generations to Wealth Management. We are proud to say that some of our graduates are now advisers within the business.

Greater Manchester Community

Torevell & Partners are proud corporate sponsors of RHS Bridgewater. The Royal Horticultural Society is the UK’s leading gardening charity. Aiming to enrich everyone’s life through plants, and make the UK a greener and more beautiful place.
