Compliance Officer & Company Secretary

Amanda Valentine joined the firm in 1999 from KPMG, where she had been a Senior Manager in audit. She gained experience of a wide variety of business sectors, working both nationally and internationally. Amanda is the firm’s Company Secretary; she became Compliance Officer in 2008 and Finance Director in 2016.

Amanda graduated from Oxford University in 1987 with a degree in Chemistry and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG Manchester in 1990.

Outside of work, Amanda enjoys all aspects of family life. She has been a governor at Bolton School for a number of years, initially serving on Finance Committee and now appointed Vice Chair responsible for the Girls’ Division.
